Jim also co-authored the book The Elephant in the Youth Room, a training guide for youth workers helping students with challenges. Kim has been working with children aged 2-22 since 1998. This work has included psychological/academic assessment, gifted testing, play therapy, counseling and behavior management. She specializes in working with children with Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, emotional regulation and social skills delays. Kim has worked for Milpitas Unified School District, Anne Arundel County Public Schools and the Palm Beach County School District-division of charter schools. She has also worked in private practice in Jupiter. Kim is a trained 504 coordinator and is able to consult with parents on the best way to address medical issues in both private and public school settings. Kim is a licensed school psychologist in the state of Florida and a provisional Licensed Mental Health counselor.
